But when it comes to the gift buying part we love to support other local businesses and brands that make it a point to produce their goods in the US. It’s a practice we also make a priority here at faucethead. So with ten shopping days left, take a peek at some of the top-notch products designed and produced on our American soil.

artist to watch: teil duncan

As people active in the world of design, blogging, social media and art, we’ve come across pieces in our career that sent a pang of jealousy right to our core. The reactions ranged from a gasp, a gripe or a mumbled “I wish I could do that” but the underlying takeaway was always the same: an overarching desire to bring that gasp moment into our own work and come away as a better designer having seen that piece. Cliche, but true. Teil Duncan is one of those artists we envy and draw inspiration from. Her acrylic paintings of figure studies, animals and beaches are a colorful as they are intriguing. Her brushstrokes look effortless and her figures are full of life. We can’t wait to see how she inspires us next.
