What does escaping during a global pandemic look like? For us, it’s an afternoon away from our phones. An overnight at the only open campground nearby. A belly laugh brought on by conversations with a lifelong friend. A slow afternoon, drink in hand, on a patio. A virtual visit to a place we love. It’s a getaway, no matter how fleeting. We’ve survived the first half of 2020, and who knows what’s next, so take a moment and escape this month. It’s good for the soul.
